I don’t use the sunroof that much now because it’s way too hot and bright in Florida. The lights in the cup holders, small tray, and floorboard are nice because you can change the colors. The setting for lights with the music doesn’t seem to light them up very much. The speaker lights are neat on mood lighting mode. The speakers sound better than any I’ve had. The heated steering wheel is nice in winter because my hands get cold. I immediately turned on the ventilated seat, but it was so hot it didn’t help much. After being parked in 101 degrees for about 3 hours, some papers in the car were burning up to the touch. The ventilated front seats are good if you’re not hot and the seat isn’t too hot. I had plenty of time to slam on the brakes myself. It was kind of dangerous because I was stopped in the road with people in the median wanting to turn left into a store, and people turning out of the store going left and right. I was applying the brakes already because someone had slammed on theirs in front of me turning right, and then it braked hard. I had to change the automatic braking to beep only because it braked so hard one time, and just stopped. I especially like the blind spot detection, and rear cross traffic alert. EPA estimates for this engine are a respectable 26 mpg city/31 mpg hwy. The Soul Exclaim is powered by a new 1.6-liter turbocharged engine making 201 hp and 195 lb-ft of torque paired to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic. Fuel economy is essentially unchanged at 26 mpg city/31 mpg hwy. I love all the extras as this was my first vehicle with safety features. The 6-speed automatic is the only transmission offered.
